I've been trying to understand if this is possible to do within Photoshop, and have seen similar posts that use Batch Rename whilst ticking the 'Overide Save As' option to achieve similar tasks, but none so far where multiple Save As are used from one action. However, I would like to keep the original file name and just add a sequential number and 80 to it. I then have to go to the directory in Explorer and either use a 3rd party tool, or manually rename all the files until I have the following: Baker-FINAL.PSD I have creating a script through a Action Set with image resize by 80 and save as action, then applying this through the File>Automate>Batch. I end up with a directory with the following files: xx-FINAL.PSD it continues to do this for another five colours. It then changes the grey background colour to blue and saves as xx-BLUE.JPG Then it goes on to save the file as xx-GREY.JPG The script then saves the file as xx-FINAL.PSD The resize method in its JavaScript reference guide doesn't seem to cover this (p.64). The script duplicates each of the layers from Baker.PSD into its own Smart Object in the template file. This doesn't seem to work, so I think a script way might be what I need. I then run an action which opens a template file Template.PSD 1.When batch-resizing images in Photoshop, you don’t need to open all the files that need to be resized, as this is problematic when you have hundreds of. In this instance we'll call it: Baker.PSD I am currently exporting a file from Coreldraw as a 4-Layered PSD. The images I'm working with are for design prints that I sell locally. I'll add mock filenames to try and make it easier to follow. The reason I rotate the aspect ratio to match the document's orientations is the Cropping a landscape to portrait aspect ratio and cropping a portrait to a landscape composition wise does not work.I'll try to make this as clear as possible. You would need an Absolute aspect ratio selection plug-in script. However my will rotate the aspect ratio to match the document's orientation. I created an Aspect ratio selection plug-in script based on Adobe Fit images script. You may be able to combine that script into actions that do the aspect ratio crops then have Image processor pro do the resizes and save. If you want to crop and resized your images you would need a different script. Then X's Image Processor Pro plug-in script will do what you want. If you want to retain you images aspect ratios and be resized to fit within the the sizes you listed. Do you want your images fitted the the sizes you listed or do you wnat you images to be center cropped to the different aspect ratios and sized to the listed images sizes. You lasted not only different Images sizes you listed different aspect ratios. More then a dozen Scripts for use in actions This doesnt seem to work, so I think a script way might be what I need.Sample Actions.txt Photoshop CraftedActions set saved as a text file.CraftedActions.atn Sample Action set includes an example Watermarking action.Action Enhanced via Scripted Photoshop Functions.txt.The Aspect Ratio Selection Plug-in is in my crafting actions package.Ĭrafting Actions Package UPDATED Added Conditional Action steps to Action Palette Tips.
